Whatever job you have, healthy eating during your lunch break can be rather difficult. For one week, I designed my own Curvy Girl Challenge and decided that I would only eat salads for lunch during my lunch break. I am ecstatic with the results.
Healthy Eating on Your Lunch Break is The First Step to Living a Healthier Lifestyle
At the end of this week, I can attest to feeling lighter and more energetic. I try a lot of methods of losing weight and really, healthy eating is the way to go. Some working women often make the mistake of eating very heavy, very satisfying fast food on their lunch breaks. I have to admit, I am guilty of emotional eating during my lunch breaks because of stress. But I stuck to my personal challenge and I love the results.
I know you’re thinking lunch is only one meal of your day, but you have to start some where. Sometimes slowly making changes to your lifestyle will increase the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I know that there are gurus who will tell you to have heavier meals in the morning and for lunch, and healthier smalls meals for dinner. This is cool depending on your personal habits. I usually don’t eat heavy at night, so I decided to cut out a heavy meal during the day, which works for me. It’s important to know your body and decide what is best for you.
What is my next personal health challenge?
I will definitely be designing a new challenge for myself, but it will focus on shaping my body to my curvy satisfaction. Will keep you posted.
