For over a year, Zumba has been a life consuming addiction. Who doesn’t want to lose weight while also feeling sexy and exotic? It’s like a one hour therapy session for my mind, body, and spirit.

Zumba is a dance fitness aerobics revolution that has taken the fitness world by storm. Zumba is inspired by Latin American dance and is primarily performed to Latin music. I say primarily because there are so many different styles of Zumba and types of Zumba instructors that you may get a mixture of song genres. If you have been to a dance class before, then think about rolling your hips and doing salsa moves at a quick tempo. Attendees are also inspired to wear hip scarves for flare, or to control the movements of your hips while dancing.
But don’t take my word for it, every gym in America has a Zumba class because it is fundamental to the success of any aerobics program. There are even Universities that offer Zumba as a part of their fitness program.
Fitness Boredom Never Again
Never in all my years have I ever stayed completely involved in a fitness program because I get bored out of my mind. I know that some people love to run, and others love to lift; but I love to dance. Dancing is medication for my anxiety and a huge stress reliever. It is so important to participate in events or activities that make you happy.
